Electrical Industry Modern Award

The Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2020 came into effect on the 1st January 2010 and covers all electrical contractors that are employed under the national workplace relations system. The most recent addition has been updated on 23 November 2021. 

The Modern Award operates concurrently with the new National Employment Standards (NES) which also commenced on the 1st January 2010 and together they regulate the minimum employment terms and conditions for the electrical contracting industry.
