Exciting news for regional NSW electrical contractors! Round 2 of the NSW Government is granting a $20 million EV destination charging grant program is now open. The grant covers up to 75% of the cost for eligible regional business and councils to purchase and install EV chargers.
NECA in collaboration with NSW Government and Business Partners are holding an information session on Thursday, December 7th, from 10:30 - 11:30 am to discover how you can tap into regional opportunities and install EV chargers. Hosted by Isaac Wall and Dan Wigmore from the NSW Government, this webinar will help you understand how to take advantage of the grant program.
They will walk you through the program, including:

The NSW Government's overall EV strategy and EV grant programs.

An overview of the NSW EV destination charging grant included co-funding amounts, eligibility criteria and the approval hardware and software lists.

Guidance for electricians on how to engage with the program effectively including the format of the quotes they provide to applicants.

NECA Business Partners Clipsal Schneider, NHP and ABB & IPD will discuss their latest EV charger technology approved by the NSW Government list.
