WHS Risk Focus Toolbox Talks - Psychosocial Hazards

Electrotechnology workers face a range of Psychosocial hazards on the job just as workers in other industries. These types of hazards are of significant concern in today's workplaces, affecting employees at all levels.
 
These hazards encompass various work-related factors that can pose risks to employees' mental health and well-being. Some of these hazards include workplace stress, bullying, harassment, job demands, role clarity, drug & alcohol, substance abuse and sexual harassment. Employers and managers must identify these hazards, note the signs and the impact on employees and the overall dynamics of the workplace and be able to help and guidance to their employees.
 
Effective leadership is crucial in managing workplace psychosocial hazards. It is important to listen to your employees of any Psychosocial hazard concerns, create and maintain a positive work environment Prioritizing employee mental health and conducting regular hazard assessments promotes happier and more productive workplaces.
