NECA provides its members with 2-hour free consultation to help with your safety & technical challenges. We come to your premise if located near a major city or town or provide a video conference for anyone in the regions.

This no obligation consultation is a great way of obtaining expert advice and direction to help you improve your safety.

This service is available for member in ACT, NSW, QLD & TAS.

Services available to members & non-members at an additional cost, these include:

• Third party electrical inspections – members will be able to engage our Technical team to conduct a third-party inspection of their completed projects to ensure quality and technical correctness. Members may wish to demonstrate to their clients a quality installation, resolve disputes or check the work of a new electrical employee is to standard (VOC).
• Temporary Construction Wiring AS/NZS 3012 compliance audits – Third party audits of construction wiring have been a popular service for electrician keen to demonstrate compliance for their principle contractors. This especially useful when the Unions take an interest at their sites.
• Training-to-your-door – Members can request technical safety training sessions at a venue of their choosing. The training will be tailored for the member’s employees to be relevant to the work they undertake.
• Letters of opinion – These are letters written to members providing an opinion of a technical nature to help resolve disputes. These are written after enough evidence of compliance is sited.
• Voltage drop and maximum demand - calculation, lessons and reviews.
• Defect review - have your defects reviewed by our own inspector to let you know if you were hard done by.

• WHS Outsourcing/labour hire – If you need help with day-to-day WHS administration, weather its for a couple of hours a month, or a couple of days a week. You can use NECA’s trained WHS advisors to assist you. Call us to discuss your needs.
• WHS Audit / Gap Analysis - A WHS review or safety gap analysis is a proactive approach to ensure your safety management system is effective and complying with WHS legislation. ... A safety gap analysis can cover a wide range of assessments designed to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
• WHS Audit Support (CM3, Pegasus, Mirvac, etc.) - Need help with an external audit, prequalification or tender documentation. NECA’s qualified staff can make quick work of these audits. We can provide advice and support while you complete these difficult processes or: If you subscribe to one of our Safety Management Systems Safety GEN or Safety ELITE we can act on your behalf and complete the WHS sections of prequalification audits.
• WHS Incident Investigation - We provide third party unbiased and objective incident investigations and support services to your organisation. Our consultants have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience required to conduct an independent incident investigation. We follow a structured process in identifying and recording the critical information, conducting interviews, analyse the data, determining surface & root causes, and developing recommendations.

• Workplace Safety Inspections - NECA WHS Consultants conduct independent third party WHS inspections in your workplace to identify general and specific hazards that pose a risk to employees and other in the workplace and on work premises in accordance with AS4804/AS4801/AS3000/AS3012 and applicable legislative requirements. Our extensive experience in various workplace settings and industries will provide you with valuable OHS inspection report which includes a risk register itemising all identified hazards, risks and control measures required with an action plan to incorporate in your WHS program.
