Access Canberra Electrical Inspections has advised that a policy guideline on the requirements of smoke detectors for Battery Storage systems has been published on its website.  

The purpose of this guideline is to provide examples to the installers of Battery Storage systems on their obligations to install smoke detectors for these types of installations and how to be complaint to AS/NZS 3000 – Wiring Rules.
