Changes to National Construction Code 2019 (NCC)
Electrical contractors should be aware of the new changes to the NCC, Part J6, which restricts the power allowed to be used for lighting. The provisions will apply on 1 May 2020, although they can be voluntary applied between 1 May 2019 and 1 May 2020. The Lighting Council has put together a document which explains these changes.
