The Victorian Council is pleased to announce the appointment of James Keegan to the position of NECA Victorian Chapter Executive Director effective February 15th 2016.

James’ has worked for Schneider for 25 years in various senior roles finishing within the role of Vic President Strategy & Solutions Schneider Electric Pacific.  James qualifications include Electrical A Grade (Box Hill), Marketing (Swinburne University) and Leadership (Harvard).   The combination of working for Schneider and the technical qualifications provide a solid foundations for James to assist NECA provide members with an understanding of the future market space and help position members to take advantage of those opportunities.

“The Victorian Council is particularly excited by the opportunities that NECA is now providing members, such as the; new Technical Knowledge Base, upgraded Safety System, revised web site and the revitalized road show program, and we believe that those opportunities will be enhanced and grow under James’ leadership,” said John Cutler, NECA Victoria President.

“The Victorian  Council also would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike Purnell for taking on the role for the past 7 months.  During this time we have seen NECA change and grow.  This will not be apparent to the members immediately but over the next 12 months the additional services that we will provide I am sure will be appreciated.  The introduction of these initiatives will in the future give you the NECA members the competitive edge we are all looking for.  For that work we say thank you to Mike.”
