About NECA WA
The National Electrical and Communications Association, Western Australia (“NECA WA”), supports the business interests of electrical and communications contractors in the State of Western Australia.
NECA WA consists of four separate legal entities, each with a role to play in the development of employers and employees:
- NECA WA – the peak industry association representing electrical and communications contractors, which currently has over 1,300 members.
- Electrical Group Training Ltd (EGT) – a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO), which currently employs over 500 apprentices and hires them to over 130 contracting businesses throughout the state.
- College of Electrical Training (CET) – a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) currently providing vocational training to over 1,600 apprentices and 4,000 post-trade training to licensed electricians and contractors.
- NECA Legal (WA) Pty Ltd – An incorporated legal practice offering legal services to NECA members and non-members.
NECA WA’s mission is to improve its members’ businesses through the provision of excellent advice and services and to maintain and improve its position as the premier provider of quality employment and training services throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
