New Wage Bulletins

For those employers covered by the Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Award 2010 and the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2010, the minimum wage rates and allowances have increased, effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2016.

Government Funding for Apprentice Employers

The Australia government is committed in supporting the development of National Skills Needs List occupations (NSNL).

There are financial incentives and benefits available for electrical contractors who are thinking or currently employing an apprentice. Employers and apprentices must satisfy the eligibility criteria in order to access the financial incentives and benefits.


New Safety Standards for Non-Compliant Hoverboard Accessories

Fair Work Building and Construction now Assessing Compliance of New Enterprise Agreements

Fair Work Building and Construction (FWBC) has issued notice to the Construction and Building industry advising of their new role.
