Managing Apprentice Progression Program
Managing Apprentice Progression
The Energise Oz – Managing Apprentice Progression (MAP) pilot was developed by the industry to improve apprentice completion rates. The program ran from late 2012 until June 2015. The idea of the program was to create a modernised apprenticeship that offers a flexible system, recognising individual needs. The nationally consistent program aimed to address the future demand for electricians and produce a healthier, productive workforce.
Since the end of the MAP program, E-Oz Energy Skills Australia has commercialised some parts of the program, which is now run by Energy Space.
