Queensland has a range of business stationery available to assist you with job administration and provides other information products specifically designed for the electrical trade. The items are generally kept in stock, but we are able to obtain other publications for members, including those from Standards Australia.

Asbestos Management Plan

The Asbestos Management Plan is designed to assist electrical and communications contractors to comply with laws surrounding the asbestos prohibition and prevent exposure to airborne asbestos fibres.

The plan will help electrical contractors, their employees and other persons with the control of premises that may contain asbestos to comply with regulations and create a safer work environment.

The plan contains information on a range of topics including:

• General principles for an asbestos management plan
• Contents and review of a plan
• Maintaining a register of asbestos containing materials
• Warning signs and labels
