10 Reasons to send your apprentice to NECA College

Did you know that an apprentice no longer needs to be employed with NECA Electrical Apprenticeships to attend?

NECA College is currently taking enrollments for 2021, and below is a list of reasons to consider sending your apprentice to NECA College.

1. NECA College is Government funded

All training is Government funded. There is no cost to you or your apprentice.

2. NECA College offers one-on-one tuition

NECA College has one-on-one, after-hours tuition for your apprentice when they need extra help at no extra cost, so you can be sure your apprentice gets the best support possible. We don’t just fail an apprentice at the end of a semester and make them re-enrol for another 6 months. They monitor their progress from the very first lesson to ensure they stay on track.

3. NECA College is flexible

NECA College accepts students midway through an apprenticeship or even midway through a semester. If you’re not satisfied with the college your apprentice is currently attending and want to transition, please get in touch.

4. NECA College has advanced learning facilities

Every apprentice attending NECA College is allocated their own computer and G-Suite account. Experienced trainers lead students through the content, supported by our digital platform that can also be accessed at home at any time. Apprentices can re-attempt quizzes or watch presentations at home to reinforce their learning.

5. NECA College has weekly capstone assessments

Tired of being told your apprentice hasn’t passed their capstone and made to wait another 6 months for re-assessment? NECA College assesses capstone on a weekly basis.

6. NECA College is nationally recognised

NECA College only delivers nationally recognised training that can be used anywhere in Australia. All training is accredited and complies with ASQA standards.

7. NECA College has industry specialists

Electrical training is all they do. Why enrol your apprentice at any generic college when you can train with the industry specialists?

8. NECA College provides guidance for entry requirements

There is a short language, literacy and numeracy quiz required before enrolment to identify any weaknesses (normally numeracy). We’ll provide the required guidance to strengthen the areas of weakness. A sample quiz demonstrating the required LLN can be accessed by clicking HERE

9. NECA College delivery format is 1 day per week

The traditional 1 day per week format is followed.

10. NECA College is central

To ensure we remain a centre of excellence, we only offer the training at one specialised location: 122 Hume Highway, Chullora NSW
