We Need Your Input: Schedule of Test Results with Certificates of Compliance
We have been approached by the Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) to obtain feedback from industry in relation to the inclusion of mandatory recording of electrical test results with eCOCs as recommended by clause 8.3.2.2. of the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.
The proposal may be in the form of an attachment to the electronic certificate of compliance or may be embedded in the certificate itself which we would assume could also encounter IT limitations.
The OTR has asked for industry comments in relation to the process which includes the use of the OTR developed Schedule of Test Results contained here >, or indeed whether contractors would prefer to use their own version that may or may not be in use already.
We have put together a short survey for members as we would greatly appreciate your input. The survey will only take a few short minutes.
We would ask that members give serious consideration to the issue and please provide your views as soon as possible as this could well influence the decision by the OTR.
