Rebranding of ECA WA Inc, CET and EGT

WA’s leading providers of training and workforce services to the electrical industry, Electrical Group Training (EGT), and the College of Electrical Training (CET) are today launching a refreshed brand identity and suite of logos.

Founded in 1988 and 1995 respectively, EGT and CET are part of The Electrical and Communications Association WA Inc (ECA WA) and over the last three decades, have firmly established themselves as the most significant contributors to the training and employment of electrical apprentices and workers in Western Australia.

In the past decade alone, EGT has graduated more than 1,500 new tradespeople who were placed with over 2,500 electrical and communications businesses to get their on-the-job training. Using this collaborative approach, EGT has provided more tradespeople to the WA electrical industry than any other group training organisation.

CET has been recognised as the premier provider of electrical training in WA, winning many awards, including the 2014 Large Training Provider award. CET presently trains more than half of all electrical apprentices in WA and provides post-trade training to over 3,000 electricians each year. Over the last 5 years, more than 70% of all new electrical contractors have undertaken CET’s Electrical Contractor Training Program.

In light of this, we are proud to announce new logos which celebrate and recognise EGT and CET’s proud WA history. The new logos include the geographic outline of Western Australia, which highlights our historical origins and our continuing commitment to servicing and supporting WA’s electrical industry.
