The National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) welcomes the appointment of Adrian O’Connell as Standards Australia’s new Chief Executive Officer.

NECA CEO Suresh Manickam said Standards Australia plays a critical role in the Electrotechnology Sector and he looks forward to continuing the close working relationship NECA has with the organisation.

Suresh Manickam, CEO of NECA, said:

“I want to congratulate Mr O’Connell on his appointment as CEO of the nation’s peak standards organisation.

“We have worked closely with Standards Australia over a number of years to develop standards that reflect the ever-increasing complexities of the electrotechnology and associated sectors.
