This month’s Risk Focus program highlights the significant challenges Gravity poses to electrotechnology workers.

These risks include falls from heights, dropped objects, and slips. All of which can cause serious injury if not properly managed. Workers may be exposed to these dangers in various environments, such as construction sites, utility poles, and rooftops.

For instance, working at heights without adequate fall protection can lead to severe falls, while improperly secured tools or materials can turn into deadly projectiles if dropped. Additionally, slips and trips on uneven surfaces or due to unaddressed spillages can result in falls, contributing to gravity-related accidents.
