Clipsal and Schneider Electric Partner Business Product Recall

Further to the eAlert NECA SA issued to members on the 28th February 2014, Clipsal and Schneider have released more information in regards to the recall of the Clipsal 413 series products:

1.        There is faulty marking of the active and earth connections.
2.        The fault is suspected to only affect production units marked 2013-48.
3.        Not all of that product is faulty – but it could be as high as 4,000 units Australia-wide.

Whilst this fault should be identified in the normal testing process, the company is mindful of the significant risk caused by any incorrect wiring of the outlet.
Clipsal and Schneider have put in place a product recall via the ACCC process which you can download below.
