CONNECT

CONNECT is a national industry superannuation plan specially created for the electrical and communications industry. Since establishment in 1985 under the name SPEC (Superannuation Plan for Electrical Contractors), our membership has grown and evolved as technology has changed.

The membership is now 27,000 with more than 4,000 employers and funds of over $400 million.

The Trustee responsible for managing this plan comprises representatives from the Electrical Division of the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union (CEPU) and the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

The primary aim of CONNECT is to provide members with the best possible retirement benefits, as well as death and total and permanent disability insurance.

NESS

NESS (New South Wales Electrical Superannuation Scheme) was established in 1987 to provide superannuation benefits for employees in the electrical and associated industries in New South Wales.

The Trustee responsible for managing this plan comprises representatives from the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) and the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

NESS aims to provide members with outstanding retirement benefits and excellent death and disability insurance cover.
