Our Green Home Project
NECA is pleased to announce it is working with Sustainable Business Australia, along with its business partners – Connection Research, Object Consulting and APEX Australia on the Our Green Home Project”. Our Green Home is a national study designed to improve understanding of how households can reduce electricity consumption with better tools and support.
Our Green Home will need electricians across Australia to install electricity monitors in peoples’ homes. The project is also still open to new householders who might want to take part. Read more…
This project has received funding from the Australian Government Department of Industry as part of the Low Carbon Communities Program.

1. NECA is the peak industry body representing the interests of electrical and communications contractors Australia-wide.
2. NECA is run by electrical contractors, for electrical contractors.
3. We have 5,000 contracting companies as members – and they in turn employ over 50,000 people Australia-wide.
